- 200 grams of sweet potato
- 100 ml water
- 1/2 teaspoon: natural salt
- 100 grams of oatmeal
- 100 ml soy milk without additives
- 150 ml water
- 20 grams sugar beet (or regular)
- 100 g Cake flour
- 8 g baking powder without aluminum
Steps to cook oatmeal and sweet potatoes by steaming
- Sweet potato cut into 1 cm cubes Add water and salt to a saucepan with ingredients, cover and simmer over medium heat for 3 minutes. Turn off the heat, then save.

- Grind the oats into a food processor. Prepare the steamer by boiling water and setting the steamer.

- In a bowl, mix soy milk, water and sugar, add oatmeal. Stir well to absorb water into the oatmeal. Mix in the diced sweet potatoes.

- Sift the ingredients and add the flour slowly with a rubber spatula until it becomes flour and gets a uniform texture.

- Fill the muffin tin to 80%. If steam comes out of the steamer, keep the cup over high heat for about 15 minutes. They are ready when a toothpick is inserted in half.

- Remove from muffin tin and let cool. They will become moist and spongy, not dry, if you let them cool in a container with a removable lid.

- They have less sugar. Serve as breakfast or a snack. Store leftovers in the refrigerator, wrap in plastic wrap and store in reusable bags.

- For oatmeal, you can use the instant variety (shown on the right) or other store-bought oats (shown on the left).
