- For Dosa Batter-
- 2 cup idli rice
- 1/2 cup urad dal-spilt black lentil
- as per taste Salt
- 2 tbsp chana dal -spilt bengal gram
- 1 tsp dry fenugreek seeds
- For red chutney -
- 10-12 red whole dry chillies
- 1 tabspoon roasted chana dal /
- 8 cloves garlic
- 1 Small chhoped onion
- as per taste Salt
- For potato masala -
- 1/2 tbsp oil coconut /sunflower
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tbsp urad dal
- 1/2 tsp chana dal
- 1/2 tsp ginger chopped
- 2-3 green chilli spilt
- 1/2 sliced onion
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 2 big potatoes cooked and mashed
- 1/2 tsp tspoon termeric powder
- as required Salt
- some Chhopped green coriander leaves
- For mysore masala
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp chopped onions
- 4 tbsp slice capsicum
- 4 tbsp shredded cabbage
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chhoped beetroots
- 2 tbsp grated carrots
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp pav bhaji masala
- as per taste Salt
- some grated processed cheese
Steps to make to make Cheese Mysore Masala Dosa
- Clean wash and soak rice, dal, fenugreek seeds.soak them 7-8 hours then drain water and transfer into blender. blend in to paste with little water keep aside with cover for fermentation for 2-3 hours.
- Soak red chilly for 15 min in water then transfer into blender jar.add red chili, roasted dal, onion, salt and garlic and blend into a smooth paste. keep aside
- Heat up oil in pan add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal and sauté till golden. add chopped onions and sauté. add ginger, green chilly, curry leaves, turmeric powder, salt and mix all well and sprinkle green coriander leaves.
- For mysore masala
Heat up butter in nonstick pan,add onions and sauté kit. add all veggies,chili powder, pav bhaji masala, salt, green coriander leaves and cook for 2-3 min. - Now take mysore masala and add potato mixture, divide in 4 portions and keep aside
- Heat up nonstick tava and sprinkle some water wipe off with tissue paper. now pour a ladleful of batter and spread in circular motion. spread 11/2 tspoon butter, red chutney, mysore masala in center spread grated processed cheese fold and serve immediately with Sambhar / white /green / red chutney.
