Ingredients and spices needed to prepare potatoes, rice and peas:
- 1 large onion
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of pepper powder
- 1 salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 medium sliced potatoes
- 1 1/2 cups chickpeas
- 1 cup or rice (raw)
- 1 cup or cup of granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 1/2 cup of water
How to make rice with potatoes and peas
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion until transparent.
- Add tomatoes, all spices and water. Cook until the tomatoes are soft. (You can stir it now, or cook a little longer until the oil comes out of the tomatoes and onions.)
- Add the potatoes, peas and a cup of water, or enough to cover the vegetables. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the water evaporates.
